A note from YM Raja Azmi Raja Nazuddin, Acting Group Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Airports, as Convergence transcends into the digital realm.
Back in June of 2010, we published the very first issue of Convergence, an informative and inspiring airport magazine with a passionate editorial team of writers and contributors serving as its backbone.
Over time, Convergence – published bi-monthly – matured and evolved into a trusty companion that every traveller has come to know. It also provided an ideal platform for Malaysia Airports to showcase our evolution from just an airport operator to a diversified entity with a mission to create joyful experiences for all our stakeholders.
After eight successful years and 44 print issues, the time has arrived for Convergence to make the leap into the digital world, in tandem with our move to embrace the Airports 4.0 digitalisation journey we had started with Convergence Lite on our social media platforms.
Now we go a step further and as we greet the New Year, we celebrate the birth of our e-magazine on our newly revamped website. The ‘brand new’ Convergence hopes to reach and interact with a wider group of audience so that we can learn your needs and wants better.
However, it will not lose the essence of what had made it popular before. It will continue to captivate and educate readers through a range of fun, entertaining and informative segments – from fashion, gastronomy and travel to entertainment, business news and industry insights.
Rest assured that the migration of the magazine into the digital domain will not only elevate reader experience but will also allow you to constantly be in the know and be inspired as you keep yourself updated with the latest happenings in and around the country, and well beyond Asia.
Like us, we hope that you too will embrace the new Convergence with open arms as we work tirelessly towards fulfilling all your retail, travel, and lifestyle needs whilst maximising and co-existing with our current social media platforms subscribed by over two million users – and most importantly, staying relevant to our readers.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for journeying along with us on this truly remarkable ride.
