More than 600 students in Semporna benefited from the MYAirportCARES school essentials worth RM120,000
“Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.” ― H. Jackson Brown Jr.
Holding on to that principle, Malaysia Airports’ #MYAirportCARES team must have been the happiest as they are always on a journey of giving a helping hand to those that are facing a tough time.
Recently, the team has provided essential school supplies such as school uniforms, bags, shoes, stationaries and face masks worth over RM120,000 to 628 students from Semporna.
Through this corporate responsibility initiative, Malaysia Airports aim to ease the burden of parents and motivate students to stay in school and excel in their studies so that they will be able to open the door to opportunities in the future.
According to the Chairman of Malaysia Airports, Dato’ Seri Diraja Zambry, as the main airport operator of Malaysia, their responsibility transcends beyond just airport guests and has a huge corporate responsibility to look after the betterment and welfare especially the underprivileged from the surrounding community.
Dato’ Seri Diraja Zambry also wish that the benefitting students from Semporna will make full use of the contribution, and we hope it will motivate them to strive and excel in their studies.
We hope that with this contribution, we could build a new generation of future leaders! All the best and keep on soaring!
