First YA KUN KAYA TOAST in Malaysia opens at Langkawi International Airport
If you’re craving ultimate comfort food whilst waiting to catch your flight from Langkawi International Airport – here’s great news! Iconic Singaporean ‘kopitiam’ Ya Kun Kaya Toast, founded in 1944, has landed, making its debut in Malaysia.
To savour simple yet delicious comfort foods such as kaya toast with butter, butter sugar toast and soft-boiled eggs, make your way to Level 1 of the Departure Hall (Landside) where the kopi-and- toast chain begun operations since March 25, 2019 – or you could simply let the drool-inducing aroma of coffee and toast lead the way!
The first outlet with the ‘family café’ concept in Malaysia boasts an extended menu from the ‘Kaya Toast’ concept, offering Asian Signatures apart from the well-loved Value Set Meals.
Asian Signatures include Satay Chicken Cutlet with Rice, Nasi Lemak Istimewa, Chicken Curry, Laksa, Mee Rebus and Mee Siam. All Value Set Meals, meanwhile, come with two soft-boiled eggs and a regular cup of hot coffee or tea, including the toast of their choice, ranging from the popular Set A to Set G.
Patrons may also choose from a range of hot and cold beverages which includes the much-loved Ya Kun coffee and tea range.
