Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang (MOP KLIA) is celebrating their 5th Anniversary with a bang! The branded factory outlet has several surprises lined up for shoppers, starting from 25 July 2020 until 31 August 2020.
The highly acclaimed premium outlet has come a long way since its establishment in 2015. Today, MOP KLIA houses an impressive list of prestigious brands such as Bally, Calvin Klein, Fred Perry, Sacoor, Superdry, Versace, and many more. Meanwhile, new store openings to look forward to include the new boutiques by Adidas, Furla, Aprilia, Nautica, Crocodile, Ralph Lauren Children, and Khaskha, among others.
When you’re there, get ready to experience a refreshing, new ambience as the outlet is now decked out with summer-themed decorations for that Insta-worthy photo op. Speaking of which, participate in their photo contests via social media platforms and stand to win exciting prizes. There are two contests for you to choose from: one is 'Hi FIVE! Happy Birthday, MOP KLIA!', where the summer-themed backdrop is located at Sunshine Square, while the I Love MOP KLIA structure located just outside of Entrance 5 is another interesting photo prop to include in your shots.
That’s not all, shoppers can also join the Count the 5 contest, also at Sunshine Square. All you have to do is count the number “5s” around the 5th Anniversary pop up area and backdrop. Then, submit your answers online via a QR code to stand a chance in winning shopping vouchers worth RM50 each. It’s that easy!
On top of that, be on the lookout for their weekly weekend redemption starting 24 July 2020. A birthday treat awaits those born on National Day, 31 August as giveaways on the week of 29 August - 31 August 2020 is a RM50 voucher with no minimum spending required.
“We are celebrating this 5th Anniversary milestone by rewarding our customers for their support in making Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA a success and also to help them weather the difficult times caused by the pandemic,” said TJ Cheah, Deputy Managing Director of MFMA Development Sdn Bhd.
Concurrent with the Recovery Movement Control Order phase, MOP KLIA has registered an increase in footfall and business is gradually picking up again. According to Cheah, the mall still adheres to stringent health and safety guidelines.
“We have implemented social distancing measures, disinfect touchpoints regularly, placed hand sanitisers at all entrances and run temperature checks for staff and customers upon entry,” he elaborated. In addition to that, all customers are also urged to fill in their details before entering the outlet, in compliance with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.
