For an unforgettable Ramadan, head to SAMA-SAMA HOTEL KL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and enjoy a delightful array of traditional fare
Sail through with the winds of change this Ramadan. Instead of breaking fast at home or the usual visits to Ramadan bazaars around town, swing by Sama-Sama Hotel KL International Airport and ‘berbuka puasa’ with panoramic sunset views in the iconic airport quarter.
The hotel is resolutely focussed on making every diner’s experience a memorable affair, and so in an effort to make the recent Mother’s Day even more significant, mothers who dined on May 12 each received a special tulip especially flown in from the Netherlands.
At the call of Maghrib prayer, marking the breaking of fast, get ready to enjoy a lush, mouth-watering spread – comprising more than 100 dishes – at the Ballroom Foyer, Level 1, brought to you by the expert culinary team spearheaded by Executive Chef Ahmad Farhan Noorzali.
A plethora of dishes await to appease your appetite, including Malay traditional salads (ulam-ulam), Banana Bud Salad, Beef Ghoulash Stew, Jaipur Vegetable Biryani and Cantonese Butter Prawn. Then there’s the popular mainstays such as the Roasted Whole Lamb, Chicken Tandoori, assorted Grilled Fish and Satay available at the porte-cochere outside of the ballroom foyer.
Got a sweet tooth? Sama-Sama has got you covered too! Delight in various desserts prepeared just for you including ‘kuih-muih’ Malaysia such as the traditional Kuih Lapis, Kuih Seri Muka and Apam Balik, along with Lai Chi Kang and ice cream.
And if you’re a durian fan, enjoy the King of Fruits to your heart’s content at the durian stall. Don’t forget to balance the heat from the durian with a milk-based beverage such as Coconut Milkshake or Banana Milkshake.
Apart from wall-to-wall 2D pop-out backgrounds complete with quintessential hawker style props, there’s the in-door waterfall garden where you could enjoy an intimate ‘buka puasa’ with loved ones on a spacious wooden deck overlooking a man-made pond – enhanced by the soothing sound of lapping water. If you’re at the porte-cochere, grab the chance to sneak in a conversation or two with the chefs at hand who will be preparing your dish according to your own personal preferences.
Also, enjoy live music by Cakial Band and El Montaro Band who will be performing soothing melodies and familiar songs, making your ‘buka puasa’ experience at Sama-Sama Hotel all the more memorable.
Group bookings of 50 persons or more can be made as well; various function rooms will be reserved for these for a more private dining experience with family, friends or business associates.
