This will encourage growth in tourist and passenger arrivals into Malaysia,” said Malindo Air CEO Chandran Rama Muthy.
“On the other hand, we have also introduced another two new routes from Kuala Lumpur to China, ie Zhengzhou and Chengdu. These flights will commence from 1 May 2019. The volume of traveller arrivals from China to Malaysia is high, and our passengers enjoy the comfort and Business Class option that we offer. We are happy to grow our network in China and cater for the increasing demand,” he added.
Currently, Malindo Air operates flights from Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Langkawi and Johor Bahru to seven cities in China, namely Chengdu, Guangzhou, Guiyang, Haikou, Kunming, Tianjin and Wuhan.
