Thank You. From The Bottom Of Our Hearts
The humble journey of Convergence kicked off with its first issue (June/July 2010) at the Malaysia Airports headquarters in Sepang.
The magazine was regarded as the best branding platform for Malaysia Airports and enabled us to portray ourselves to be more than just an airport operator to the rest of the world.
We wanted to reach our passengers, business and retail partners, relevant stakeholders and most importantly, you, our readers.
As the years passed, our team of four expanded to a team of six you have come to know. Alongside the editorial team, the magazine has also undergone several key changes notably the section on airline news in December 2012, the celebrity and key personality interviews that began last year and a complete revamp of the magazine in January 2016.
Today, we bring you our 44th and final print issue. It has been seven solid years and the journey has been intriguing, to say the very least.
From what’s trending in our beauty stores to what’s converging at our airports, from hearing what you have to say to reading about what we have to say, we further invited readers to explore travel and airline news as well as stories that inspired the masses.
We gave you, our readers, something to read, learn, get inspired and to stay curious. There was something in the magazine for everyone to read, regardless of the type of traveller.
We also grew with you. From our series of articles on the opening of klia2 and our five-year business plan, Runway to Success 2020 (RtS 2020), to gaining the trust and confidence of top multinational companies in the world such as McDonald’s, Harrods and The Body Shop to feature extensively in our pages, we gave you our very best.
Keeping abreast with the latest trends and technologies, the time has come for us to go fully online. With over two million Facebook followers, we are embracing the digital change to reach you, moving forward.
The e-Convergence will maximise and co-exist with our current social media platforms and most importantly, staying relevant to our readers.
We aspire our future content to be multi-pronged and that is what we will strive towards in the forthcoming issues.
As we work towards enhancing our reader’s experience, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support throughout these years. We hope you enjoyed reading Convergence and we will see you soon.
